A frozen actor grabs a Trump banner from audience member during a Broadway play

An actor in the Broadway staging of Disney's fantasy film frozen confiscated a "Trump 2020" banner from a front-line public member on Wednesday night.

During the curtain call of production, a participant wearing a "Make America Great Again" visor rolled out a pro-Trump banner.

The actor Timothy R. Hughes (who plays Pabbie, the leader of the group Hidden Folk in the series), leaned over and seized the flag, tossed it aside and continued to tilt (see video below).

The actor explained on Instagram: "What do we say about our country and our politics when a man at the show tonight felt the need to protest against Disney? frozen on Broadway with a pro-trump flag? To what extent have the messages of love, acceptance and diversity of our show become the opposition to Trump's support? The curtain call is a thank you between the actors and the public, a final connection to end a shared experience. I will not apologize for the way I responded to the disrespectful man who was trying to interrupt this moment with a pathetic political platform. Not our show! Not in front of my beautiful diverse and talented cast at @frozenbroadway. I appreciate the support of everyone.

Here is another view of the moment:

A representative of Disney's theatrical productions did not have an immediate comment from the company.

According to the Huffington Post, citing a tweet from another viewerLater, Trump's fan "stood outside the theater after the show, threatening to sue if he had not received the flag."

I guess they could not just … give up.
