Frank Billingsley, a popular KPRC meteorologist, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Billingsley, who has been with KPRC for more than 28 years, made the announcement Tuesday night on Facebook.
"By pure luck, my cancer has not spread.An early detection saves lives.Anyway, do not cry for me, keep going and, seriously, check, agree? will keep you informed throughout this trip. " .
Billingsley told KPRC that he had publicly announced his diagnosis because he had no symptoms and had not intended to be checked.
