Insider Zak Keefer and host Nat Newell discuss Colts' weaknesses and what to look for before the first week.
Clark Wade / IndyStar

It's a new era for the Colts of Indianapolis, and this is welcome in Week 1. The Colts won their first game in 2013.

But this year, there's a new coach and Andrew Luck is back behind the center, so it's going to turn out, right?

It is difficult to convince many people. Here are the game predictions of the whole nation. (Zak Keefer of IndyStar gives the Colts an advantage this week.)

Elliot Harrison from NFL.com: Bengals 30, Colts 22

Andrew Luck is a fantastic player on the right. If there is a shadow of – or all – himself will be a determining factor both in this match and in the 2018 season in Indianapolis. Thinking the Bengals front will be too much for the Colts offensive line, forcing Luck to carry too much charge by himself. Especially with LT Anthony Castonzo hit. Cincy receivers should hay in these Indy bends, unless Frank Reich suddenly reveals a scary race. Doubtful.

Tyler Lauletta from Business Insider: Covering Colts by Giving 3 Points

Andrew Luck is back in Indianapolis and Marvin Lewis is still in Cincinnati.

Joe Giglio from NJ.com: He takes the Bengals

The return of Andrew Luck on the field will be the star, but the advantage of Cincy on both lines will be the difference here. The best team receives points. Jump on that.

Power ranking: Colts are a staple, not a competitor

Ryan Wilson at CBS Sports: Bengals 28, Colts 21

The Bengals have spent the off-season improving an offensive line that allowed Andy Dalton to score lower than Eli Manning in 2017 after placing in the top 10 finishers of the previous season. Joe Mixon could finish the season as one of the best backs in the league, and if the first round pick of 2017, John Ross, could take second place against AJ Green, this offense could be among the most balanced in the AFC. In Indy, we do not know what to expect Andrew Luck, especially because we have not seen him play since the 2016 season. The fact that he has passed the pre-season in one piece is great news but one may wonder if he will ever return to his pre-shoulder injury form. He looked more like Chad Pennington in recent weeks, and although you can definitely win like that (Chad Pennington did), can luck adapt in this way?

Michael D. Smith at Pro Football Talk: Colts 21, Bengals 17 (but Mike Florio does not agree)

It will be one of the most interesting games of the first week due to the return of Andrew Luck. I think the Colts will win the first game of luck in 20 months.

Pete Prisco at CBS Sports: Bengals 28, Colts 24

Andrew Luck is back for the Colts, which is a good thing. But he's not a lot of skill players around him. The Bengals will be improved in defense, and the offensive is healthy after many injuries last year. The Bengals win him on the road, Andy Dalton playing well.

David Steele from Sporting News: Bengals 27, Colts 24

How many parts between teams will this mediocre attract attention? Andrew Luck is back after missing the entire 2017 season and having experienced unexpected and unexpected highs and lows at the training camp. He really has little help around him, but if he is back to where he was before the shoulder, he can wear the Colts surprisingly far. The Bengals are still the Bengals and Marvin Lewis is still Marvin Lewis.
