A mixed martial arts veteran was wanted by Denver police on Friday after surveillance footage showed him dropping another man into a bar earlier this week.

Melvin Guillard, who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) from 2005 to 2014, was seen on the video obtained by TMZ Sports, with a quick punch at Bar Standard in Denver.

The website indicated that the incident occurred around 2 am Monday and a police spokesman said that witnesses had identified the 35-year-old brawler as being the attacker .

After the man hit the ground, a woman tried to pick her up at Guillard but both were separated by clients. Another client was seen treating the unconscious, unidentified victim. The cause of the fight was not clear.

TMZ reported that a Guillard arrest warrant had been issued.

The fighter had a record 12 wins and 9 losses in his UFC career, with a fight that ended without a fight. Eight of the 12 wins were by knockout.
