BASRA, Iraq (Reuters) – Three Katyusha rockets struck the perimeter of Basra Airport on Saturday, local security sources said.

An Iraqi airport official said there was no disruption of operations and that flights were taking off and landing normally.

No casualties or damage was reported and it is not yet known who launched the attack, which took place after five days of violent demonstrations that damaged government buildings, political party offices and the Iranian consulate.
