Anthony Bourdain wins two posthumous Emmys for "Parts Unknown"

Anthony Bourdain won aEmmy Award posthumously for Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.

The latest television personality won the award for best writing for a fictional program and an outstanding series or special feature, marking its first successes since 2016, date of the CNN series win in the category of informational series.

In total, Unknown parts won four Emmys, including outstanding edition of images for a non-fiction program and outstanding sound editing for a non-fiction program (single or multi-camera), which was awarded Sunday during the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, Anthony Bourdain: Exploring Unknown Pieces also won for the outstanding series Nonfiction or Reality Series.

The recognition comes after the death of Bourdain in June, when his friend and friend, chef Eric Ripert, discovered his body in a room at the hotel Le Chambard in Kaysersberg, France, where he was filming an episode of the series.

The 12th and last season of seven episodes of Unknown parts should be broadcast on CNN this fall. The first episode, with a trip to Kenya with W. Kamau Bell, the host of CNN United Shades of America, will premiere at the 2018 Tribeca TV Festival.

In total, Bourdain won six Emmy Awards for Unknown parts. The facilitator had already been appointed for his work on Taste and Anthony Bourdain: No reservation.

The 70th Creative Arts Emmy Awards were distributed over two days, September 8-9, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. A price distribution will be broadcast on Saturday, September 15 at 8 pm. ET / PT on FXX.
