Pakistan and China on Sunday pledged to finalize the $ 50 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, wishing to strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership.

He also forwarded the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang for an official visit to Khan.
Khan reiterated that Pakistan's friendship with China is the cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy.

Wang's visit was marked by unease in Beijing over how the new PTI government would address China's $ 50 billion investment in various CPEC projects.
