A mother diagnosed with incurable breast cancer was rejected as a blocked milk duct: report

A 32-year-old mother of two who was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer just two months after giving birth is preparing to file a complaint against her health care providers driving milk.

Anna Alessandro of Stockton-on-Tees, England, told TeessideLive that she had felt lumpy last summer, but that a nurse had said she would "disappear when I had the baby".

She went back to the doctor who referred her to a specialist. According to Metro News, they then discovered that the cancerous mass had spread to the lymph nodes under his arm, two vertebrae and his sternum. She was told in November that she had spread to her bones and was incurable.

Alessandro, who plans to marry the fiancée Ashley Kearney next year, said she realized she would not be alive to urge her daughters to diligently look for signs of cancer, but that others

"Girls will know what has happened but what can explain cancer to a 4-year-old?", She told Metro News. "I told Ashley that I probably would not be there at the age when girls will have to check their breasts but make sure they check them out. I have never checked my breasts, it's something that is not meant for young women. I want women to check their breasts more and if there is probably a [doctor] and do not take no for an answer.

Alessandro, who had to stop working as a hairdresser after her diagnosis, said she did not know how much time she had left. His friends have created a GoFundMe page to pay his medical bills. Part of his treatment would include the menopause induced by the medicine to reduce his estrogen levels and his hormonal treatment in the hope of increasing his life span.

"I will never be told that I am cancer free, but for now, my quality of life is good," she told reporters.
