The wait is coming to an end! There are only 17 days left until the 15th season of Gray's Anatomy first and PEOPLE has a first look!
At the premiere of two hours – which promises to bring many juicy twists, new faces and, of course, a love affair that will bring you to question everything – exciting new doctors roam the corridors of the Gray Sloan Memorial. There is an "Ortho God", a pregnancy is revealed, and Dr. Meredith Gray stumbles over his new love interest … Dr. Andrew DeLuca. And, yes, there is a scorching love scene to top it all off.
ABC also revealed the title of the two-hour event "With a Wonder and a Wild Desire" / "Broken Together", and outlined expectations: "During the first hour of the two-hour season, the Gray Sloan Memorial doctors compete for a new position. Meredith is seemingly distracted and struggling to stay focused, and Maggie finds herself guarding a big secret while Amelia and Owen try to understand their relationship. Meanwhile, Alex and Alex's honeymoon is not going as planned. In the second hour, the new doctors continue to shake up the hospital in the typical Gray Sloan way. Meredith binds with a patient while Jackson struggles with the meaning of recent experiences; and after making a decision that changed his life, Jo forms an unexpected alliance.
While this season promises to bring many surprises, we can count on the return of a familiar face.
Kim Raver, who plays Dr. Teddy Altman, joins the cast as a regular series.
"I am delighted to take on the role of Dr. Teddy Altman as a regular member," said Raver, 49, in a statement. Weekly entertainment. Last season, regulars Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw left the show in the season 14 final.
The deadline indicated that the decision regarding the releases of Capshaw and Drew was strictly based on the creative direction of the series. (Star Ellen Pompeo vigorously refused a report linking their departures to her new salary of $ 20 million.)
