Moonves resigned as President and CEO of CBS on Sunday after further allegations of sexual harassment and assault were filed against him. On Monday, Colbert was not easy with his former boss who hired him into the network.
"As you may have heard, the head of this network, Leslie Moonves, was forced to resign yesterday," said Colbert. "It happened after a second presentation by Ronan Farrow, in which more women accused him of sexual harassment and assault. This is never a good sign when you are double-dipped Ronan Farrow. "
"The article is extremely disturbing and I'm not surprised that this is the case," said Colbert.
