We're only five days away from the Hell in a Cell annual pay-per-view event, and the next Super Show-Down parade will take place in just over three weeks from Melbourne, Australia If the shadows subsided on Sunday, it was hard to ignore the construction related to some of the biggest SmackDown Live programs. Overall, they were very well done and the blue brand show delivered one last icing on the cake before Sunday – at least for two of the first three programs.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are still standing
In the backstage of the show, Miz was to be interviewed by Kayla Braxton but he said the attention was not on him tonight, his wife is in the main event. Maryse appeared and said that she was going out against Bella and show her daughter how nice it was to hit her in the face. Miz finished the interview by pointing out how practical it was that Bryan brought Brie to fight for him.
Brie Bella defeated Maryse via disqualification: Miz and Maryse attempted to participate in the main event, but Bella rushed to the ramp and brought Maryse back to the ring. Just as Bella looked ready for victory with the Yes Lock, Miz pulled Bella out of the ring, which resulted in disqualification – and also Bryan to accuse Miz outside of getting her hands on his wife. On the outside, Bryan was inadvertently thrown into Bella, which opened him to a Miz attack. Maryse and her husband thought that they had Bella alone in the middle of the ring with Bryan in a state of incapacity, but he fought back to enter the ring and save his wife. Bryan and Bella stood up for the second week in a row after eliminating Miz from the ring.
Whether someone appreciates the inclusion of wives in the quarrel or not (personally), the reactions of the crowd show that they work well. Mixed matches can often be difficult to overcome with a crowd, but given the personal nature of this rivalry between Miz and Bryan, it only fuels the fire. Maryse's small allusion to Bella on Tuesday night – coupled with Miz's violence with Bella – was enough to maintain the interest they had built up for Sunday's match. Category B-
AJ Styles, Samoa Joe deliver the latest posts
The styles arrived at the arena early Tuesday. Sitting on the ring steps in the empty arena, the WWE champion admitted that he knew that Samoa Joe could push his buttons by bringing his family into rivalry. Although he has known Joe for over 20 years, Styles said that he would never bring his family into quarrel because he is a man of integrity. Styles told Joe that when the bell rings, no one has the upper hand on AJ Styles. The conversation stops, the intimidation comes to an end and he then reminds Joe that between SummerSlam and last week, he only got a glimpse of what's going on when you involve his family. On Sunday at Hell in a Cell, he will show Joe how phenomenal he really is. It's the house that AJ Styles has built … and it's not for rent or for sale.
Later in the series, Joe made a promo in his own backstage. Sunday's challenger wanted everyone to come together for a bedtime story called "Night Night, AJ". Joe read the fairy tale, which was just once again Joe's involving the woman and the girl of Styles reliving his attacks in recent weeks. The story ended with a drawing of Joe next to the champion's wife and daughter as he clung to the WWE championship he planned to take on Sunday.
While this quarrel has steadily taken over from other people on Tuesday night, you can not ignore the efforts of the two men to keep the plot alive. Sometimes trying to create personal rivalries falls a bit flat, but this is not the case here with Styles and Joe. You are attracted by the fact that you see them getting their hands on one another and, unlike some of the other programs, it does not seem a problem that we know in advance that we are going to see them. relaunch it again in Australia. Tuesday night was one of the best promos that Styles has made since he was in the company, and Joe has once again shown how he really is a stub. Grade: B +
Becky Lynch becomes creative with her ambush
SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair said she specifically asked the match at Sonya Deville on Tuesday – just five days before losing to Lynch on Sunday – because, unlike Lynch, she feeds on the competition. She said that she hoped her former best friend was watching this upcoming match.
Charlotte Flair (c) def. Sonya Deville via submission: Flair won with Figure Eight in this untitled game. After the fight, Flair was taking pictures with fans at the ring when she was attacked by Lynch, who was disguised as a spectator. Lynch jumped the barricade and slapped Flair in the Dis-Arm-Her on the ramp before the officials could break the attack. Behind the scenes, Lynch told Braxton that she was going to break Flair's arm Sunday before retaking her title.
They are still – for whatever reason – trying to portray Lynch as that infernal character. And – again – people absolutely do not want anything WWE sells here, as fans chanted Lynch's name as she dismantled Flair. WWE is best served to call an audible and perform some sort of double-turn on Sunday before the flame that surrounds Lynch ends up exhausting, but unfortunately, I can not give them as much credit. Grade: D
What happened on SmackDown?
- Jeff Hardy def. Shinsuke Nakamura via disqualification: Before the match started, Hardy cut a promo to open the go-home edition of Hell in a Cell from SmackDown. He said that demons are all around us and that you have to face them head-on, and that's what he's planning to do on Sunday when he gets into the cell for the first time in his career to fight Randy Orton. Regarding his untitled match against American champion Nakamura, as Hardy was preparing for the Swanton bomb, Orton appeared to knock him over and push him out. Orton rolled Hardy into the ring and brutalized him with a steel chair, but Hardy finally grabbed the weapon and turned the tables over. Hardy placed the exclamation point in the match against Orton on Sunday while nailing him with a Swanton bomb to finish the first segment.
- Rusev Day def. The Bar via pinfall to become # 1: Aiden English & Rusev will now face New Day Sunday at Hell in a Cell for the SmackDown Team Championship. Sheamus was aiming to get Rusev with the Brogue Kick, but the Englishman took the shot for him. As Sheamus turned, Rusev hit him with the Machka Kick and picked up the 1-2-3.
- Andrade "Cien" Almas def. R-Truth via pinfall: While Almas and Zelina Vega were performing their tranquilo signature poses, Carmella tore Vega off the apron, causing distraction. This distraction allowed Almas to trace the truth and gain victory by clinging to the jails.
- Backstage interview with Asuka and Naomi: Naomi asked Asuka why she had helped him last week, to which Asuka responded that she could not stand the IIconics and that she could not understand their accents. A bit of humor ensued where Asuka and Naomi had trouble understanding each other. The abuse of Asuka by the WWE goes crazy.
