Debra Messing confronts Susan Sarandon again about her views on President Donald Trump.
The two men, who were arguing until the 2016 election and continued exchanging words after Trump's victory, rekindled on Wednesday with Messing, 50, slamming Sarandon into a video. in which she tells Variety that the Trump presidency has inspired women to stand for election.
"It's a revolution," said Sarandon. "Maybe things had to be so bad before real changes really happened. We just have to stay awake.
"STFU SUSAN," tweeted Messing. "Oh yes, PLEASE leave the credit to Trump. I mean, otherwise, how can you go out on the street? Do you convince yourself that this DISASTER for a President you said was better than [Hillary Clinton] DO NOT tear children away from parents who ask for asylum.
Sarandon, 71, reacted quickly by tweeting: "Before you do, just click on the video and listen to what I'm saying, not the @ Variety clickbait title, which does not quotation marks. It's an index .. "
In his tweets, Messing retorted that people were inspired to lack "desperation" and "panic" because of Trump. She also targeted Sarandon in opposition to Clinton in the 2016 presidential election in favor of Bernie Sanders, and then continued to campaign against her when she won the Democratic primary against Sanders.

Sarandon was a vocal critic of the Democratic Party for years, while Messing was a staunch supporter of Clinton throughout his failed campaign.
