The second week of the 2018 NFL season has arrived!
It is officially time to dive weekly into the points and the betting lines around the sport. This means choices and predictions for the entire slate.
With a new week, we're sure of the following: fantastic football, cheering on your favorite team and, of course, taking a look at the gaps to make sure you're on the bright side of every result.
Consider this as a one-stop guide for choosing each game (or at least the majority) correctly.
Baltimore Ravens to Cincinnati Bengals (-1)
Thursday, September 13 at 20:20 is
One of these teams is ready to take a 2-0 start and take 10 rest days in the third week. This could be the springboard for a full year of competition for the playoffs. The Baltimore defense has the day, slowing down Joe Mixon and A.J. Pretty green Justin Tucker wins it with a late field goal. My shot: Ravens.
Carolina Panthers in Atlanta Falcons (-5.5)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
What a terrible first week for the Falcons. Added to defeat of first week against Eagles: long-term injury to defensive starters Keanu Neal and Deion Jones. There is still enough avant-garde to give Caroline team problems, but the Falcons suddenly seem very vulnerable. My shot: the hawks.
Colts of Indianapolis at Washington Redskins (-5.5)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Alex Smith continues to be the most underrated quarterback of the NFL. Washington, returning home for his first game, brings the best offensive and defensive line in this fight. Ask the points MY CHOICE: Redskins.
Houston Texans to the Tennessee Titans (-1)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Despair this early? For the loser of this game, he will exist with a record of 0-2. Titans are lucky Marcus Mariota is not seriously injured. Now, more worry: stop a talented Houston team. The Titans suffered the impact of a seven-hour football game last Sunday. My shot: Texans.
Philadelphia Eagles (-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Looking at the Tampa Bay Saints' assaults, this opened their eyes, but here's why the Eagles will be fine Sunday: 10 days off, more training time for Nick Foles, injuries in the Tampa Bay Orleans defense line presented against Ryan Fitzpatrick. My shot: Eagles.
Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers (-5)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Count on me as a believer of Patrick Mahomes. In fact, we are looking at the most talented second quarter (only behind Michael Vick) that Andy Reid has ever had. Yes, Mahomes is more talented than Donovan McNabb. Mahomes will do a show, but Pittsburgh bounces home after a draw in Week 1. MY PICK: Steelers.
Miami Dolphins at the New York Jets (-3)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Do not worry, Jets fans. This time, the quarterback is the real deal. Unlike Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith, Sam Darnold is the real deal. The Jets-Dolphins battles always seem to go in the opposite direction of consensus, but the tide is about to turn. The Jets have real talent on both sides of the ball and could be a good team this year. MY PICK: Jets.
Los Angeles Chargers (-7.5) at Buffalo Bills
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
Welcome to the NFL, Josh Allen! Your first mission: An angry 0-1 Chargers team, who missed a few points, put nearly 40 points on the board last week. MY PICK: Chargers.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers (-1)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
What's great for the NFL: Aaron Rodgers, on one leg, wins games. What's worse for the Packers this week: Aaron Rodgers, on one leg, trying to avoid a vicious Vikings pass. MY PICK: Vikings.
Cleveland Browns in New Orleans Saints (-8.5)
Sunday September 16th at 1 pm
For the first time in a long time, there is real hope in Cleveland. This is especially true on the defensive side with Myles Garrett in the lead. The Browns will win a few games this year and could be an exciting team on both sides later this season when Baker Mayfield takes over the quarter. This week will not be that kind of week. MY PICK: Saints.
Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers (-5.5)
Sunday September 16 at 16h05 east
Each year, a week 1 loss is more distinctive than others. This year, this distinction belongs to Lions. Losing at home is one thing, but the Jets are another. Expect the 49ers to return home. MY PICK: 49ers.
Arizona Cardinals to Los Angeles Rams (-12.5)
Sunday, September 16th, 4:25 pm
This is a huge line, but there is a huge talent gap between these teams. In addition, Sean McVay seems to me to be the type of coach who will score the score. MY PICK: Rams.
New England Patriots (-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday, September 16th, 4:25 pm
Prepare your popcorn for this one, guys. The Jacksonville defense will play a significant role and will be able to remove all weapons other than Rob Gronkowski for New England. If the Patriots' defense was not so improved, I would go with the home team. My shot: the patriots.
Oakland Raiders to the Denver Broncos (-5.5)
Sunday, September 16th, 4:25 pm
One of the most difficult games on the board all week. Oakland could be bad, but I do not believe much in this Broncos team. In a draw game, take the points. MY PICK: Raiders.
NFL standings
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3)
Sunday September 16th at 8:20 pm
A lookout game in Dallas. The loser will be 0-2, and potentially two Eagles and Redskins games in the East of the NFC. Both groups are defective, but the Giants' weapons will make an extra game late. My shot: the giants.
Seattle Seahawks at the Chicago Bears (-3.5)
Monday, September 17th at 8:15 pm
Chicago performed well last week and Seattle is on its second consecutive trip to start the year. Even so, I can not refuse more than three points with the best quarterback in the game. My shot: Seahawks.
Last week: 8-7-1
Season: 8-7-1
