Carol Ballweg, 46, reportedly admitted taking her daughter's fentanyl and oxycodone while the authorities were conducting a search of her home, according to Fox 2 Now.
The Troy Missouri police department received a call Monday from family doctor Troy about Ballweg asking that prescriptions be met earlier than expected, reported Fox 2 Now.
The report identified Ballweg's daughter as "CM", but did not reveal the type of illness that the woman was suffering from.

A palliative care provider also reported suspicious behavior by Ballweg and several calls to a telephone line prompting the office to detect CM's urine, which found no trace of either medication. The girl was also reported to have bed sores under Ballweg's care.
Ballweg was formally charged with four counts of theft of controlled substances and two counts of abuse against an elderly, disabled or vulnerable person. A judge ordered to cut off contact with his daughter and his bond was set at $ 100,000, the New York Post reported.
