DEWITT, N.Y. – DeWitt's police are asking the public for help to find a suspect in the killings of two Chile employees on Saturday.

Police said William D. Wood, Jr., 32, is armed and dangerous and should not be approached. But anyone who sees it or knows where it is should call 911, the police said.

The wood is described as a white man who measures 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The last time he was seen, he was wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants. He is known for his brown or orange BMX bike, the police said.

The police have not yet identified the victims.

Police said the agents responded to the restaurant at ShoppingTown Mall in DeWitt at 1:04 am and found a dead employee on the scene. A second employee was taken to a local hospital where he died, the police said.

DeWitt's police are on the scene searching for physical evidence and questioning witnesses, according to John J. Anton, DeWitt's chief of police.

The restaurant, 3691 Erie Blvd. E. in DeWitt, normally closed at midnight, according to his website.

Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies, New York State Police and Syracuse Police Department, K9, are providing assistance, police said.

Wood has two previous arrests in the Syracuse area, according to the archives.

In 2010, he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, in addition to second degree and second degree harassment.

In 2004, when he was 18, Wood was accused of false identity, in addition to traffic violations.
