Emmys 2018: How to watch

The 2018 Emmy Awards are fast approaching and PEOPLE is ending the big night as you prepare to watch all the biggest TV stars come together in the same room.

Here's all you need to know:

When and where are the Emmy Awards?

Monday September 17th at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

How can I watch?

The show will be broadcast on NBC. It will be broadcast live on both coasts simultaneously, from 20 hours. ET / 17h PT.

Who is hosting?

The show will be hosted by Saturday Night LiveCo-writers Michael Che and Colin Jost. They are the first duo to welcome Jenna Elfman and David Hyde Pierce in 1999.

The broadcast will be done by their boss, SNL Creator and EP Lorne Michaels, and surprise appearances from other cast members are expected.

Who is nominated?

Although Veep Julia Louis Dreyfus has been treated for cancer, the usual war horses such as The iron Throne and The servant's tale dominated this year's nominations.

Jessica Biel, who has received critical acclaim for The fisherman and is now an Emmy candidate for the first time, and former The anatomy of Gray Sandra Oh, who made a satisfying televised comeback with BBC America Kill the day before – and is now the first Asian actor to receive a nomination in the best actress category.
