THIS IS NOT A GREAT SITUATION:
For those who say that Sitkowski is not ready: it is difficult to argue through three games.
It is clear that he has enormous physical gifts. Nobody can doubt his toughness, especially after bouncing back as if nothing had happened after being knocked down like a piñata in Ohio State. Nobody is going to outdo the kid, and everything indicates that no one wants it, and wants it at Rutgers, more than him.

But seven interceptions in three games (and not even three full games) and three selections returned for the touchdowns are not good. A completion percentage of less than 50% is also not reached.
People must stop calling for a redshirt. Sitkowski has already played three games, and even if he had to go to the bench, it is difficult to find a good plan for all players who will see him play one more game this fall. The kid will play.
At this point, though, it's worth asking if he needs a little respite before it happens again. But a full assessment suggests that this is not what is best for Rutgers.
