Veteran Matt Hardy announced that he was moving away from professional wrestling after a 26-year career.

Hardy, 43, posted a video on YouTube after completing his latest event on Saturday night in Corpus Christi, Texas.
"There has been a lot of speculation online for a while," Hardy said. "WWE, thankfully, they let me fulfill all my advertised commitments. But tonight, in Corpus Christi, it was the last pledge announced.
"Tonight at Corpus Christi, it's probably the last time you'll see 'Woken' Matt Hardy on a WWE ring," said the world champion by 13 teams.
Hardy then revealed that his goal will be to take care of his family.
"I have two young children and a woman. It's time for me to go home.
In the description of the YouTube video, Hardy wrote:
"Thanks for letting me live my dream for 26 years, fight fans. I do not want it to be like that, but it's time to go home. It's time to go home and be a father. It's time to go home and be a husband. I have done a lot more than I would have imagined. Thank you for making this amazing trip with me, ladies and gentlemen. I love you all."
Hardy gained prominence in the late '90s as part of the iconic Hardy Boyz team alongside his younger brother Jeff.
Matt is reinvented as a competitor of singles giving himself the nickname "Version 1," when he separated from Jeff in 2001.
It was only in 2016 that Hardy, under the Impact Wrestling, took off as star of the single after becoming the strange character of Matt Hardy. He brought Jeff together and dominated the independent tag team scene under the name "Broken Hardys".
The act was so popular that the Hardys experienced a career revival, eventually leading to a return of the WWE.
Matt and Jeff made a surprise comeback at WrestleMania 33 in 2017, picking up the tag titles in a multi-team game. Before retiring, Matt would win the braces again with his rival become ally Bray Wyatt.
