In a behind-the-scenes social media interview, the team's icon finally evoked his future by saying, "There was a lot of speculation online for a while if I came back or not to WWE and luckily m & # 39; enabled to fulfill all my advertising commitments.
"But tonight, at Corpus Christie, I had the latest advertising engagement."
Last night is most likely the last time you will see "Woken" Matt Hardy in a WWE ring.

Matt Hardy
The 43-year-old joined the sport as a teenager and, after winning a WWE contract in 1998, formed one of the greatest teams ever with his brother Jeff, the Hardy Boyz.
He was released from his contract in 2010 but returned last year and has since teamed up with Bray Wyatt to form The Deleters of Worlds.
But after a live event in the United States on Saturday night, Hardy said he was moving away after apparently struggling with a welded spine and pelvis.
The star, however, seemed to give free rein to the fight, adding at the end: "But I say" never say never ".
He also took the time in the poignant video to thank WWE viewers and list some of his career highlights:
"WrestleMania 34 – it was a great moment to win the Royal Battle André.
"And I have to bring my creation to The Ultimate Deletion in Raw, in the Main Events section.
"There were a lot of cool things I did."
There are suggestions that Hardy will now play behind the scenes.
In August, Hardy sent an enigmatic tweet that fueled rumors that he might soon hang up his wrestling shoes after SummerSlam.
He shared an encrypted message suggesting a career change; tweeting a photo of the empty hotel room hallway in the weird message.
He wrote: "I spent the majority of my life in hotels.
"There are always long halls with dozens of doors.
"It's a great symbolism for my career and my career."
