We finally have an update on Matthew Perry condition after the actor has been rushed to emergency surgery for gastrointestinal perforation. Perry has apparently spent the last three months in a hospital, according to a nonchalant tweet that he posted Friday night. the friends Star seems to be getting better now – he tweeted at least! – and one source said he had been released from hospital care.
His tweet was his first online communication with fans since March – although Perry is not known to tweet very often. In August, a spokesman for Perry announced that he had been pressed to operate urgently for a serious health problem. "Matthew Perry recently underwent surgery at a Los Angeles hospital to repair a gastrointestinal perforation," his representative said. "He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued intimacy while he is healing." Gastrointestinal perforations are usually characterized by a hole somewhere in the intestine, but can also occur in the throat or stomach. A few months of hospital care are obviously normal for this type of recovery.
A few hours after posting the tweet, a source close to the actor told People that Perry was finally to be released after three months in bed. "He's good," said the source People, adding that he "finally returns home"
