Residents of an Ohio city in Cincinnati, United States, celebrate Christmas in September for a young child who is terminally ill. Brody Allen, aged two, was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer, leaving him with only two months to live. To give her something to smile about, Brody's family planned to celebrate Christmas at the beginning of the year by presenting decorations and a Christmas tree. In a short time, the whole neighborhood followed suit and welcomed Christmas more than two months in advance. And Brody delights in celebrations.
The child was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer when the family noticed that the child had vertiginous episodes in May. Tests revealed that the child's brain contained four incurable tumors that, over time, became five. According to Todd Allen's post Facebook, Brody's father, the child has received the most aggressive treatment possible, despite the growth of the tumor. The little girl kissed by Pope Francis miraculously recovers from a brain tumor.
A large tumor was wrapped around his brainstem, three smaller on his brain and one on his lower spine. After doing their best to treat it, oncologists could not contain the aggressive brain that ravaged Brody. John McCain died of glioblastoma, the most lethal and incurable form of brain cancer.
After 98 days in the hospital, Brody was finally released. But the Allen family wants to make the most of the child's time with them. Todd plans to stay at home as much as possible to make sure all of Brody's needs are taken care of. During their difficult times, friends and neighbors gather around the family giving money to support their financial needs. There is a Team Brody Facebook page dedicated to the toddler where neighbors regularly post photos of the city where Christmas arrived early.
