Lieutenant Tim Myers confirmed an "Officer Shoot" at 295th Street West and 21st Street North.

Myers, spokesman for the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, did not confirm whether injuries had been reported.

Myers does not take any questions and he says that no other updates will be given on the premises.

Several local firefighting agencies and law enforcement agencies posted social media messages Sunday afternoon, extending their condolences to the family of a member of parliament who was killed on Sunday. Many of these positions were subsequently removed. Among them was a message on the Harper Police Department's Facebook page that indicated the MP was dead. The post was then deleted.
