A neighborhood of Colerain Township has come together to celebrate early Christmas for a two year old boy with brain cancer.
The story of Brody Allen becomes viral after people learned about his tumors and wanted to help him take advantage of the time he had left.
"Seeing how his family builds on each other, they are so compassionate with each other and that really struck me," said Jim Perkins of Florence Elks Lodge.
Brody's neighbors and family turned the street into a winter wonderland, setting up lights to help a two-year-old celebrate at the beginning of this year.
People from all over the world have sent their best wishes.
"There is a bucket full of mail, and we received everything this morning, the postman never went down our street, he is coming down our street now with his truck because he can not carry all the mail in his hands." declared a family member.
Community members also hosted an Italian dinner to raise funds when Santa Claus presented with a puppy.
Community efforts inspire people to help where they can.
"I knew I had to do something for the family – I had to do something to help them – I can not understand the overwhelming grief of a family planning a two-year funeral," said Perkins.
A fundraiser is planned next Saturday at Florence Elks Lodge.
