MANSFIELD – A Pennsylvania man who threatened President Donald Trump and law enforcement officers is being hunted in Ohio on Sunday.

Shawn Christy, 26, was involved in the I-71 crash between Rts. 13h and 39h around 16h45 and fled the vehicle, according to the Mansfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Christy is considered armed and dangerous, and residents of the Mansfield area have been invited to stay indoors and lock their doors Sunday night.

The soldiers joined the search for Christy by the Mansfield police, the Richland County Sheriff's deputies and the United States marshals. Anyone who believes they have seen Christy in Ohio is invited to call 911.

An arrest warrant was issued for Christy on June 19th. Authorities say Christy stole several vehicles in the past three months while he was a fugitive, and stole a truck near his hometown in eastern Pennsylvania early Sunday. who crashed on I-71 near Mansfield.

Federal authorities are offering up to $ 20,000 to obtain information leading to Christy's arrest. He is described as a white man, measuring 5 feet 10 inches, weighing about 160 pounds. He has short hair and beard, and he has a tattoo of a cross on his right arm, authorities said.
