Casey Affleck says that his brother's main motivation for re-education is his children and ex-wife.

As Ben Affleck continues his journey towards healing, his brother gives news of his progress as well as what pushes the star of the Justice League to clean up.
Speaking to ET Online, Casey Affleck, 43, talked about what his brother is going through, noting that his family is what eventually led to his cleansing.
"Alcoholism has a huge impact not only on the person, but also on his family. So, I think for his child and for his mother, and for himself, he tries to do the work and do it together, "said Casey.
The "Old Man and the Gun" star went on to explain that the fight against alcohol and drug addiction was taking place in the Affleck family and that he was where his brother was at the moment.
"Ben is an addict and an alcoholic. Most of my grandparents are alcoholics. My father is an alcoholic, as bad as he can be, and he has been sober for about 30 years. I have been sober for about six years, "said Casey. Ben is trying to put it together, and it can be a very difficult thing to do. Fortunately, he has the resources and time to take the time and go to good facilities. "
As previously reported, Affleck went into rehab after what appeared to be an intervention by the ex-wife and the mother of her three children, Jennifer Garner staged an impromptu intervention. He has since left the hospitalization program of the Rehabilitation Institution, but apparently continues his treatment.
Garner and Affleck separated in 2015 after 10 years of marriage and share three children. The actor of the "Justice League" would have evolved with Christine Ouzounian, then nanny, then 28 years old. Shortly after, Affleck started dating Lindsay Shookus, producer of Saturday Night Live. However, it was recently revealed that they broke up, which, according to some reports, has harmed the actor's sobriety.
Affleck is now 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton.
