The Cleveland Browns traded a talented but struggling receiver Josh Gordon to the New England Patriots.
In return, the Browns will have a fifth-round pick, while the Pats will have a seventh-round pick of the Browns if Gordon is not active for 10 games, sources told the league, Adam Schefter.
At least 8 to 10 teams have called the Browns to inquire about their possible exchange with Gordon, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson, after the Browns announced on Saturday their intention to release Gordon on Monday.

The Pittsburgh Week 1 game, where he caught a 17-yard pass in the fourth quarter, was Gordon's first appearance in a Week 1 game since his rookie season in 2012.
Gordon has not played in a match that his team has won since November 23, 2014, when the Browns beat the Falcons 26-24.
Gordon became one of the most dynamic players in professional football in 2013, when he led the NFL with 1,646 yards of win and scored nine touchdowns. Gordon missed the 2015 season due to a drug suspension and chose to spend 2016 in rehab.
