Tesla CEO Elon Musk acknowledged on Sunday that the problems of electrical manufacturers have now shifted to delivery logistics from production delays, the latest acceleration of profitability.
"Sorry, we've gone from the hell of production to the logistics of delivery, but this problem is much easier to solve, we're moving quickly, we should solve it soon." said Musk says in a tweet in response to a complaint from a customer regarding a delay in delivery.
The 47-year-old billionaire, who earlier this month was facing angry investors after smoking marijuana at a live show, said Tesla's customers might be facing a time of longer response in North America.
Tesla's ability to meet its production targets has weighed on its stock in the past and the company has worked to iron out production problems after failing to meet production targets for its Model 3 sedans.
The company announced in August that it was forecasting a total of 55,000 models 3 in the third quarter.
Musk said last week that the company would eliminate some color options for its electric cars in order to streamline production.
