Kanye West is moving to Chicago … but that does not mean that he is leaving L.A.

Kanye made the announcement Monday at a Windy City event with Chance the Rapper, saying, "I have to tell you that I'm going back to Chicago and I'm never going to leave again."

We know a thing or two about the latest developments, and that has nothing to do with Kanye's escape to Los Angeles, where he lives with Kim Kardashian West and their 3 children.

Sources close to Kanye say that he and Kim have already found a home in Chi-Town and that's where we know he wants to establish his permanent residence, but they retain all their properties at L.A.

In addition to the House they have just built, they have multiple properties in L.A., including 300 hectares that Kanye is developing, and this project is still a test.

We are told that Kanye will move his office from Calabasas to Chicago.

It's a bit confusing, but we are told that Kanye sees it that way … that it will have a base in Chicago, but apparently, he thinks it's more likely that he's going to have a base in Chicago. ;a home.

You will remember … Kanye launched Donda's house – named after his mother – in Chicago in 2013. It's a place where artists can develop their skills and collaborate with others.
