Two of the most explosive attacks in the world are contested when Liverpool hosts PSG in its opening game of Group C of the Champions League on Tuesday (at 3 pm ET).
Both teams are perfect 5-0-0 in their respective leagues, meeting high expectations early in the season and both aspire to play for the Champions League trophy in Madrid in June.
Liverpool, finalist last season, presents a trident striker Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. season. Firmino, wounded in the eyes against Tottenham this weekend, started the game on the bench, replaced by Daniel Sturridge.

Sturridge managed to start at the half-hour mark when he opened the scoring on a header. Andy Robertson kept the ball alive in the final third after passing a goal by sending one of his own to the left. Sturridge was the first with a powerful lead, giving Liverpool a 1-0 lead.
PSG almost equalized immediately by Mbappe. On a nifty corner kick routine, Mbappe was left unmarked in Liverpool's box. His first chance, however, was to break the bar.
The PSG was left pending a few moments later. Juan Bernat, the new defensive club of Bayern Munich, made a mistake on Georginio Wijnaldum and Milner lost 2-0 in the 36th minute.
PSG was able to withdraw a little later. Cavani made an attempt to kick the bike, but the rebound fell to Thomas Meunier, who hit an expert to beat Alisson and bring PSG back to 2-1 in the 40th minute.
