Kaitlyn Bristowe's Emmy party was not perfect!
The 33 year old bachelorette The star attended Monday's biggest TV party, but a big snafu almost spoiled his night. Bristowe – who has been with his fiance, Shawn Booth, since the end of his season in 2015 – began tweeting after arriving at his headquarters at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
"Sitting in the Emmys and my zipper just stopped and my buttocks are exposed and I can not get up and I do not know what to do," she wrote on Twitter.
As if that was not stressful enough, Bristowe then revealed that she was in the wrong place and that she had been asked to relocate. "Here's the kick, I'm in the wrong seat and people are asking me to move," she said.
One of the most exciting moments of the evening for many participants and spectators came when Betty White made an appearance, but for Bristowe, it meant a huge dilemma.
"I've been representing Betty White and shown my a **, either sitting and looking like a **," she wrote.
Some Twitter users expressed their support, surprise or advice, while others expressed disbelief at the situation. Bristowe put all that aside when she posted a picture of her very bad slide-lock malfunction.
"The proof", she captioned the photo of her cringing. "Everything opens when I get up, until mid-race."
The audience helped the reality come out, however! After discovering the problem, Bristowe was initially allowed to remain in his wrong seat and a man even offered him his jacket whenever the public stood up.
"The couple let me stay, and he offers me his jacket every time we have to get up.Chivalry is not dead," she said in tribute to the member public.
Ashley Spivey, an old Bachelor The candidate who participated in Brad Womack's 2011 season also tried to lend a little help to Bristowe, advising her to use her ear curls as a makeshift can for hold her dress. Although Bristowe enjoyed the tip, she chose not to use earrings that night.
It seems that Spivey's suggestion allowed Bristowe to ask his colleagues for help, but no one had a pin to spare! "I have tequila and we asked so many people, how does anyone have five pins !!!!" Bristowe questioned.
"THIS STORY GETS TO UNTIL MUCH MUCH BETTER," then wrote Bristowe, before revealing that she was forced to move after all.
"They came to pick us up and brought us closer, so I had to get up and waddle in front of everyone, forward with my hands holding my dress," she writes.
The saga is over! Bristowe took inspiration from her Instagram story after the ceremony to show off her new flapper-style evening dress that featured no wardrobe malfunctions. "Quick wardrobe change," she said in the video. "I'm not happy, but I'm not crazy about it either."
