Shedd Aquarium announced Tuesday that one of their belugas was waiting – the last beluga calf born at the aquarium was in 2012.
Mauyak, a 37 – year – old beluga, is pregnant for the second time (Kimalu, 6, was her first) and is expected to give birth in the summer of 2019.
