Ridings, who has been with NASA since 1998, will take over the lead group manned flight operations from the Mission Control Center at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, the space agency said in a statement. communicated.

The position will see Ridings manage 32 flight directors and flight directors trainees working on missions involving the International Space Station and the Orion spacecraft. She replaces Norm Knight, who has been in post since 2012 and has been promoted to Assistant Director of Flight Operations.
