A small plane crashed on vehicles when it fell on Wednesday afternoon in Sugar Land, Texas, reported KPRC-TV. The plane crashed near the intersection of Voss Road and Highway 6, the station reported.
We did not immediately understand what caused the accident. Authorities said the accident had caused several injuries and that at least four cars had been hit, KTRK reported. It was unclear whether the injuries were inflicted on those on the plane or on the ground, what their conditions were, or whether there were any deaths.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said some power lines were down and roads would be closed in the area. The aircraft apparently had a fuel leak but did not light a fire.
The video of the scene shows a plane in the grassy area of the roadway, surrounded by first responders.
This is a story in development and will be updated as new information becomes available.
