Shots in Pennsylvania retiree community

The search for a suspect who opened fire in a Pennsylvania retiree community was underway Wednesday night, according to local media reports.

The violent incident occurred at Bellingham Nursing Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and at least one person was shot and wounded, Fox 29 said he quoted officials.

Upon entering the establishment, the suspect, who had permission to build, fired at a person, officials said at the branch.

Authorities arrived at the scene and a lockout was ordered, according to the WCAU. The point of sale reported two deaths.

Office of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tweeted these agents were "reacting to a shootout in a retired community in West Chester, Pennsylvania."
