Tess Holliday has a new fan she prefers to give up.

The 33-year-old model has retreated after US columnist Piers Morgan wrote an article criticizing his weight for the second time in a few weeks.

Holliday released a lingerie selfie Tuesday with the caption, "[Singer] @lizzobeeating m said to capture this photo "Damn … it looks good."

Morgan later retweeted an article about his selfie and said that it was "very sad".

"She desperately needs better friends, who will be more honest with her and explain that she is dangerously overweight and that she should do something," he said.

Holliday quickly returned to Morgan for the tweet of the body that was shameful.

"The last two weeks you have been obsessed with me," she said. "It makes me feel like you're almost thicker girls and you're too scared to admit it."

And it was Morgan's second article and social media post since the beginning of September. Previously, he had criticized Cosmopolitan U.K. cover, saying that this glamorises obesity.

"This coverage is just as dangerous and erroneous as celebrating zero size models," he said.

Speak on Hello AmericaHolliday said she was not disturbed by his words.

"Unlike Piers Morgan, I do not need to drag people around to stay relevant," she said. "I can have great work and do what I love and change people's lives."

The mother of two said in the magazine that she loved her body more than ever.

"I'm at the height of my life right now and it took me the heaviest to finally love myself," she said. "I had a size of 16 to 18 years old in the United States all my life before having Rylee [her first son, who she had at age 20]. I think back to these photos now and I do not wish to have that size, but what I wish for is that I loved myself there are 120 books. "
