The suburban girl from Chicago who received a heart transplant after dancing at a meeting with Duck says that she feels good.
Sofia Sanchez met with reporters Thursday, three and a half weeks after receiving a new heart during a nine-hour operation at the Lurie Children's Hospital. The 11-year-old says her new heart "feels different, but in a good way."
Last month, the Canadian rapper surprised Sofia after seeing a video of her dance in a hospital corridor to one of her songs while she was tied to her infusion pump. It was a week before his operation.
Sofia says Drake's advice to stay strong and continue to fight helped her through difficult times.
A heart surgeon calls Sofia a patient star and says her healing is going pretty well.
