Running back Dalvin Cook and defensive end Everson Griffen will be out of Sunday's game against the Bills after no player has played all week, according to Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer.
Cook left the game last weekend in Green Bay with a hamstring injury sustained during overtime. He worked alongside coach and coach Mark Uyeyama.
Cook said Friday that he was hoping to be ready for Thursday night's game in Los Angeles against the Rams.
Griffen has a knee injury and was not seen on the practice field this week. He has traveled through the Vikings' facilities, but the veteran smuggler will miss his third match since he started in 2014.
The Pat Elflein Center is expected to debut on Sunday, by Zimmer, but it will not start. That means the Brett Jones center should get its third straight start against the Bills.
"We have a role for him," Zimmer said. "We'll see how it goes on Sunday."
