Get ready for the fourth week of the 2018 SEC football season
Week 4 is where we really get into the race … Six of the eight games played by SEC teams are conference games, and some of them are very good games. Let's take a look at this week's list!
Kent State @ 
Ole Miss – 12 pm ET (SECN)
Ole Miss was completely shut down by the pious Alabama Crimson Tide last week. Ole Miss even scored in the first play and never came nearer. This week should be different! Kent State will not be able to follow the rebels' high-level offensive. The big receivers will have a great day thanks to Jordan Ta'amu, who continues to grow as a quarterback, and Ole Miss goes to 3-1.
Prediction: Ole Miss 56, Kent State 24
No. 2 Georgia @ 
Missouri – 12:00 ET ET (ESPN)
Missouri is good and Drew Lock leads the SEC in touchdowns, achievements, passing yards … you understand. But, as I said before, Georgia is by far the most talented in the East. If Mizzou succeeds in taking off at home, there will certainly be mistakes in Georgia that we can examine and show.
Until I see Georgia slip, I can not bet against them by winning these types of games. Jake Fromm and company will retire in the second half.
Prediction: Georgia 40, Missouri 27
Texas A & M @ 
No. 1 Alabama – 3:30 pm ET (CBS)
We all knew he was good, but Tua Tagovailoa has been sensational so far, completing 72% of his passes this season, achieving 8 beautiful touchdowns and zero interceptions. He looks comfortable in his pocket and has controlled every game he has played in despite he has never played nearly four quarters.
A few weeks ago, the Texas A & M Aggies brought Clemson to the floor, which was impressive. I think A & M is a much better football team than anyone thought to be, but Alabama is just too dominant at the moment. Maybe they stay with the tide for a few quarters … It almost seems like Alabama has already won the national championship … It's only the fourth week. Buckle up.
Prediction: Alabama 42, Texas A & M 20
Caroline from the south @ 
Vanderbilt – 4 pm ET (SECN)
It's probably the game that plots me the most this weekend! Both teams lost to the top 10 teams and were impressive in their other wins. South Carolina's home game against Marshall was canceled due to Hurricane Florence, so the Gamecocks stayed 1-1 and essentially went off a week off to face the Nashville Commodores.
South Carolina can be rested, but it is better not to be surprised to sleep in this one. Vanderbilt nearly upset Notre Dame in South Bend and thirsty for a home SEC win. I choose Vandy here in a near. But these two teams have more than one shot – the game Tossup.
Prediction: Vanderbilt 27, South Carolina 24
Louisiana Tech @ 
No. 6 LSU – 19:00 ET (ESPNU)
LSU will win this game, but how much? The Tigers have returned home to Baton Rouge, now ranked 6th in the country to face the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Tech is not a bad football team and will put some points on the board. LSU must play effectively and control the tempo of the game in order to escape with this one.
The Tigers are favored by about 21, 22 points and should win this one get-geaux. I do not think they will cover everything because they have a bad team 3-0 … Nevertheless, do it 4-0 for the coach O and the team.
Prediction: LSU 34, Louisiana Tech 20
No. 14 Mississippi State @ 
Kentucky – 7 pm ET (ESPN2)
It may be the best match of the weekend. The fans, as well as the teams themselves, should learn a lot about the type of football that they play in Starkville and Lexington. These two teams left 3-0. 3-0 is a great place to go, especially in the SEC game.
Unfortunately for any of them, college football games do not end in a tie and someone will be 3-1 at the end of it. And I think it must be Kentucky to lose this one. Benny Snell is a workplace and should give the Bulldog elite the defense of some problems they have not yet encountered this season.
But the entire Mississippi State plays better football. Who controls the football matches? The quarterback. Gimme Nick Fitzgerald on Terry Wilson. The Bulldogs go 4-0 before Dan Mullen returns to Starkville.
Forecast: Mississippi State 35, Kentucky 24
Florida @ 
Tennessee – 19:00 ET (ESPN)
Florida is certainly better than last year. Dan Mullen is now their coach and the Gators are looking to get back to the top of the SEC. I do not see that yet. Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is looking to reorganize a team of volunteers who had an atrocious 0-8 conference last year.
I think Florida is a more complete team, and although both teams have failed in their only real tests so far, I'm playing with the Gators to go to 3-1 before Mullen goes to Starkville. An improved Franks Feliepe should make a Tennessee bad defense stunned at the end of the night.
Florida 27, Tennessee 21
Arkansas @ 
9 Auburn – 7:30 pm ET (SECN)
Arkansas has already embarrassed the SEC. Week 4 has not started yet. They have been assaulted by North Texas and look awful. That being said, this week should give a similar result by heading to Auburn, who, despite having suffered his first loss to LSU, looks like a very solid football team. The Tigers are physical, deep and still rank in the top 10, while quarterback Jarrett Stidham intends to rebound after an unstable performance against LSU. This one could become ugly. Quick.
Auburn 49, Arkansas 15
