EAST FLUSHING, New York – A worker accused of stabbing Queen's Daycare Center accused three babies and two adults.

Yu Fen Wang, 52, is charged with five charges of attempted murder, an NYPD spokeswoman said. Stabbing at the unregistered East Flushing Daycare occurred early Friday morning at 43-67 161st St.

Two baby girls, a boy, a father and another woman working at the center were among the stabbed people. The children, whose ages range from three days to a month, were hospitalized in a "critical but stable" state, said deputy chief Juanita Holmes.

The cops who responded found the accused unconscious with injuries inflicted on his wrists, which they handled with a turnstile, Holmes said. A meat cleaver and a butcher knife were found on the premises.

Police saw documents indicating that the facility was a nursery, said Holmes. But the address of the building does not appear in the state or city databases of licensed child care providers. A company called Mei Xin Care Inc. is registered there, but no phone number is listed for the company.
