COME BACK

Finally, what the Seahawks had hoped to see, many of Chris Carson were running and a rush attack that looked a bit like the good old days.

It was far from being dominant, but Seattle had a lot of consistent and timely wins and, at the very least, forced the Cowboys to stay honest in the game.

Carson finished with 102 yards on a total of 32 attempts – 12 in the fourth quarter – finishing the game with an 11-yard run on the third-11 of Seattle's last attempt.

Too bad to be gassed.

A negative? First-round draft choice Rashaad Penny again struggled with just five yards in three races, with his only second-half throw leading to a fumble that was awarded to Wilson.

Tight end

It was the best game of the year for Nick Vannett, a close third-year finish that equaled his season total with four receptions for 27 yards and helped set the tone for a third quarter in TD . Will Dissly also remains a solid blocker.

Quality: B-plus.

LARGE RECEIVER

Tyler Lockett is doing as the Seahawks are trying to do in the absence of Doug Baldwin, with four catches for 77 yards and one touchdown. But Brandon Marshall struggled early with three falls before catching a 27-yard Wilson player who started the third quarter. Jaron Brown also had his first TD as Seahawk. But Seattle was able to win without needing a lot of dynamic games from its receiving corps.

Quality: C-plus.

OFFENSIVE LINE

What appeared to be a makeshift group – with Joey Hunt making his second career start at the center, JR Sweezy moved to left guard for injured Ethan Pocic and DJ Fluker made his first start in his Seahawks career at the guard right – played as well as the line this season.

The Seahawks seemed particularly efficient going up the middle, helping Carson, which seemed like a credit for the game of the three inside blockers.

The Seattle tackles also did a good job of easing Dallas' loss as Wilson was sacked twice for 10 yards. He was sacked 12 times in the first two games of the Seahawks combined.

Quality: B-plus.

DEFENSIVE LINE

The best game of the season for Frank Clark, who had a bag and helped him to force another with a quick race that allowed Mychal Kendricks to clean up. Clark now has three bags in three games.

Jarran Reed also made two sacks and Quinton Jefferson had four hits.

Quality: A.

linebackers

Bobby Wagner came back and seemed to make an early personal mission to keep Ezekiel Elliott in check. Elliott finished with 127 yards but never felt like the Seahawks were out of control.
Kendricks continues to be a pleasant surprise, while Barkevious Mingo has also had his first bag as a Seahawk.

Quality: A.

SECONDARY

Statistically, a game that lives up to the reputation of the Boom Legion.

Earl Thomas debuted with an interception at the baton of a pass issued by Tre Flowers in the first quarter.

Justin Coleman added a band of Ezekiel Elliott similar to Kam Chancellor for a fumble in the fourth quarter.

All the while, the Seahawks simply made life difficult for Dak Prescott.

Prescott was intercepted twice and finished with only 168 yards and a score of 54.5.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Shaquem Griffin and Coleman each had a good open field tackle in the fourth quarter, which pushed Dallas to his own level 20 after a quick hat-trick of Seattle, as the game began to be a little uncertain.

Sebastian Janikowski placed 47 yards in the final play of the first period, giving Seattle a decisive advantage.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:

Fleeing seahawks Chris Carson, who finished with a total of 32 career races, also had the first 100-yard performance of his professional career, with 102 yards rushing and one touchdown.
