Two New Jersey men were beaten Sunday morning in an unprovoked attack outside a gay bar in Brooklyn, New York, and the search continues, the police said.
The people of Hawthorne had just left the Metropolitan Bar in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn around 1 am when a man approached and made anti-gay comments, New York police said.
The assailant hit the 34-year-old in the face and threw the 29-year-old to a tree before fleeing on foot.
The young man broke his finger, while the older man broke a shoulder. Both lost consciousness.
A passerby took a picture of the alleged attacker and the police request the help of the public to identify him. He was wearing a black shirt, beige trousers and black and white sneakers.
