Oh man. Last weekend, Ryan Fitzpatrick strutted like Times Square impersonator Conor McGregor, seeming very safe as a quarterback from Tampa Bay after consecutive 400-yard performances. He is now at the half-time of his team's Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Fitzpatrick a lot more like Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Ball security is a problem! Fitzpatrick had a pass for an interception at Pittsburgh's six-yard line in the second quarter. In the next round, following a penalty, Fitzpatrick had a miscommunication with a receiver and shot Terrell Edmunds directly:
The Steelers attack failed to convert any of these turnovers into scores, but unfortunately Fitzpatrick has not finished returning it. At the next takeover, while the Buccaneers were stuck at their own two-yard line, Fitzpatrick made a horrible decision under pressure and threw an unstable pass into the traffic:
It was Fitzpatrick's third interception in three consecutive passing attempts. The Bucs throw their karate tails, 30-10, halfway. Jameis Winston should be reactivated after suspending an Uber pilot this week. Sure to say that this second half will mean a lot for the Tampa Bay quarterback situation.
