Todd Phillips & # 39; Joker with Joaquin Phoenix is turning now, and it seems that every other day, we get new images (official or not) that tease what we can expect from this original story. One thing that really has appeared up to here is how scary this movie looks. Many people find scary clowns at first, this is part of what makes the Joker sound so deeply. But this film really seems to be based on it, with Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck in a more traditional clown makeup (at least initially) than what we saw with Heath Ledger's or Jared Leto's renditions of the character. It's not entirely clear whether the clown in this picture is Joaquin Phoenix or not, but the big, red-haired red-haired nose at Ronald McDonald shoes, it's definitely the kind of scary clown that makes you cry the children. It even looks like it has one of those flowers that make water spring from its jacket. The clown looks sad and poor, and even if a smile is painted, he does not seem to be happy. And his look is somewhat disturbing, almost threatening. Clearly, this movie showcases the scary atmosphere of the clown and tries to take advantage of the clown's fear HEIt's Pennywise so powerful.
It's hard to know for sure if it's Joaquin Phoenix, but if it's the case, it shows a Joker very different from the one we're used to. I guess Arthur Fleck will go through many transformations throughout this film, becoming the Joker we know. It may be a starting point for the character, or part of what ends up breaking it and leading him down a dark path. Perhaps having failed in stand-up comedy, he hits a low point and begins to entertain as a clown at children's birthday parties to make ends meet. I could also see this costume as a disguise that Arthur Fleck uses to make the innocent clown appear, though terrifying, before revealing himself as the Joker.
Another possibility is that Todd Phillips's Instagram clown photo is not Joaquin Phoenix. One of the leaked videos Joker showed Joaquin Phoenix's character, in Joker makeup, coming out of a subway train and terrorizing those on the platform. He is joined by a group of other people also wearing a clown makeup. These are likely his henchmen, so it could be that this picture is from one of them.
Regardless of whether or not it's Joaquin Phoenix, it's clear that this movie is being played on scary clowns, so those with coulrophobia should pack their nerves before seeing this one.
