Recruitment is starting to set up for David Bell, who has an inbound line in sight.
The four-star receiver of Warren Central, ranked No. 2 of the state on the 247sports composite, announced Tuesday its intention to make its decision on Jan. 5 at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Many of the best high school students make their decisions every year on NBC.
Bell, who has 34 catches for 698 yards and 10 touchdowns this season for the top 6-0 and 6A warriors, is considering bids from Indiana, Purdue, Iowa, Penn State and Ohio State. . Bell visited Bloomington Tuesday to train and made his official visit to Indiana for December 8th.
"I talked to coach (Tom) Allen and (to the wide receiver Grant Heard's coach)," Bell said. "They've said that I'm the number one priority right now and the last person they want to attend for the (recruiting class)."

Purdue's message is pretty much the same. Bell made an unofficial visit to Purdue for the match against Missouri on September 15th. Purdue lost 40-37, but the Boilermakers spent 572 yards. Rondale Moore, a freshman who played against Bell last season while in Louisville Trinity, had an immediate impact as a receiver and scorer of plays.
"I do not think we are alike," said Bell laughing. "He is much faster and faster than me. But if I go there, I think we would make a good combo with him inside and me on the outside. It would be difficult to double both of us. It is amazing that he is on the watchlist of Biletnikoff as a rookie. I'm happy for him.
Bell made three visits to Penn State and will make his official visit this weekend for the Ohio State match.
"I have not gone to a game yet, so I want to see what the game environment looks like," he said. "It's a" white "game, so I think it will be really impressive. I hope so. "
Bell has just completed his first official visit this weekend in Iowa. The Hawkeyes have gained ground by recruiting Central Indiana in recent years with players like Tyrone Tracy (Decatur Central), D.J. Johnson (North Central) and Julius Brents (Warren Central) on the list. The current teammate of Bell, the offensive tackle Justin Britt, is also engaged in Iowa.

"I had not been to a game there since I was in second year, so seeing the game environment was special," he said. "There is always a low environment in Iowa City."
Ohio State will receive a visit from Bell on November 24th for the Michigan match.
"I went to the Ohio State-Michigan game last year in Michigan and it was pretty good, so I can only imagine how it's going to be in Ohio State," he said. he declares.
Bell said that no matter what school he chooses, he plans to play basketball this season. He was a starting guard for Warren Central's undefeated class 4A state champions as a junior.
