With Baker Mayfield, the Browns should try to trade Tyrod Taylor: Mary Kay Cabot

CLEVELAND, Ohio – With Baker Mayfield leaving as quarterback for the Browns, the club should try to trade Tyrod Taylor against the 49ers or against another player who needs a quarter over the next few weeks.

The 49ers, who have lost Jimmy Garoppolo for the season due to a rift at the ACL, have worked with several quarters this Tuesday, including Kyle Allen, Kellen Clemens, Landry Jones, Tom Savage, Matt Simms and TJ Yates.

In the end, they decided to accompany sophomore CJ Beathard for their game against the Chargers on Sunday, but if they're looking for a quarterback who could potentially win games this season, they might want to sue Taylor, who has 23 years. -21-1 record and took the bills to the playoffs last year.

Admittedly, Taylor fought for the Browns, especially in the first half of Thursday's 21-17 win against the Jets, in which Mayfield came off the bench to replace him with 1:42 left in half and overcame a deficit of 14 points.
