James Harrison, five-time Pro Bowler who was the teammate of The Veon Bell for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2014 to 2017, suggested on FS1 Undisputed that the runner must sign his franchise badge and report to the Steelers – and then pretend to hurt himself to stay out of action.

Harrison is a two-time Super Bowl champion who played for the Steelers from 2004 to 2012, spent the 2013 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, and then joined the Steelers from 2014 to 2017.

"I think the piece for The Veon, if I'm The Veon, is that I come back – what is it, November 13?" and I'm going to go, I'll get my credit for the season that I have to do, and I'll do my best to get out of this season in good health and, for me, I'll give you everything in practice, you'll see – the cameras would see – I'm fine, I'm healthy, but on Saturday, "Something's wrong, I can not play Sunday." Because if I go out and spoil something, I lose a lot of Money, "Harrison said.

Bell said he was worried about the wear and tear of his body and that he would become an unrestricted free agent next year. Players who are injured are still paid and win a season in favor of the free agency, but the Steelers would probably not agree with a scenario in which they would suspect him of simulating an injury.

Harrison, 40, a Steelers leader, announced his retirement in April.

Harrison announced in 2014 – after his years with the Bengals – that he was retiring, before returning to the Steelers about two weeks later. The season that he spent with the Bengals coincided with their appearance on HBO Hard blows, and the defensive player of the year 2008 avoided the cameras.

When the Bengals released Harrison in 2014, head coach Marvin Lewis said, "We will all continue to take advantage of James with us in Bengal last year." Harrison thanked Bengals fans and said that he had a good time in Cincinnati.

Last season with the Patriots, Harrison recorded two sacks and forced a fumble in his only regular season game. He also participated in all three playoff games in New England.
