Astros players show their support for children with special needs

1. The Astros players have done a remarkable job in publicly supporting a young fan who has recently been involved in an ugly incident. It is now time for franchising to take things to another level.

First of all, history. An 8-year-old named Chloe attended Sunday's game in Houston. Chloe suffers from DMDD – disruptive mood disorder. The condition means that Chloe is struggling to contain her emotions. Apparently, this became a problem during Sunday's match because a fan sitting near Chloe shouted at him and said, "ENOUGH!"

The Astros players got wind of history and took Twitter to show their support for Chloe.

With Houston winning the AL West on Tuesday night, this seems like an excellent opportunity for the organization to give a happy ending to this story and allow Chloe to throw the first pitch in a future match eliminatory. Everyone who reads this should hit the Astros on Twitter and make that request.
