ILMxLAB unveiled the trailer for Vader Immortal, a new episodic Star wars experience for the newly announced Oculus Quest VR headset. Described as an "immersive entertainment experience based on a story" Vader Immortal should be released in 2019.
The Oculus Quest is a focal point between the high-end Oculus Rift headset and the mobile Oculus Go headset, developed under the code name Santa Cruz. The virtual reality gaming system was announced at Oculus' annual developer conference and will be released in 2019 with a price of $ 399. Unlike the Rift, Oculus Quest is fully autonomous and does not need to be connected to a PC or game console.
