Joseph "JC" Mounduix, Kaycee Clark and Tyler Crispen were the remaining guests of the final episode of Big Brother 2018. But only one of them could win the victory. Keep reading for the summary of the final, with details on who won tonight, updated as the show unfolds.
Kaycee and Tyler were putting a plan in motion at the beginning of the episode, to get rid of JC and face it in the end. Their plan begins to work because JC fails the first part of the headman's final competition against the other two. Kaycee and Tyler are determined to keep the win. In the end, Tyler is able to hold on longer than Kaycee.
The next step is a challenge involving anecdotal questions for the second part of the final HOH contest. And the person who won the second part of the HOH contest was Kaycee, which meant that JC was out of the race to become the last HOH of the season. Kaycee and Tyler's fate would be determined by the jury, who chooses the winner of Big Brother 20. But first, there was one last HOH contest and it was called "Jury Oddcasts".
Kaycee and Tyler had to watch videos of the jurors and then had to decide whether the statements made in the video clips were true. The last two guests were tied 6 to 6 when they were confronted with the 8th and final question. Both revealed the same answer, which meant the tie was continuing. And so, there was a tie-break, with a question about numbers. And the winner of the final HOH contest was … Kaycee. As head of the final household, she had to choose whether Tyler or JC would face the jury with her for the win of the season.
Kaycee's final expulsion vote took place after Tyler and JC each pleaded their case. Do not forget that second place comes back with money – $ 50,000.
Kaycee eventually expelled JC from the competition, making him the last member of the jury.
Finally, Kaycee and Tyler had to face the jury, the people they fought and against which they developed strategies throughout the season, and answered questions about how they played the game. Based on the strategies and personal grudges, the jury voted.
Tyler told the members of the jury that he had made good relations with many of them during the season. He said that he was a superfan for years and worked hard to find out what was happening every week in the game. Kaycee said that she was watching Big Brother from the beginning and she said that she made an effort to show that she cared for people outside the game, as well as inside.
In her final statement to the jury, Kaycee stated that she played a very loyal game and used her social skills for her strategy. She said that she remained true to herself. Tyler was more specific to the circumstances and situations in his final argument. He also said that he knew, all season long, that it was important for him to keep his super secret fandom. But, which of the two competitors was more convincing in his arguments for being the ultimate winner of BB20?
One at a time, the members of the jury voted for the host Julie Chen to reveal. Before the revelation, there were some demonstrations that were revealed, one of which was a relationship between the runner-up Tyler and Angela. There was also a proposal! Bayleigh and his man are now engaged.
But, let's go to the winner … And the Big Brother 20 the winner is … Kaycee Clark.
Clark was not the only winner tonight. Not only did Tyler finish second at $ 50,000, he also earned $ 25,000 as America's favorite.
Celebrity Big Brother will be the first this winter and another season of Big Brother will come back next summer 2019.
