College Football Choices: Predictions of Week 5 for Each Match | Bleacher's report

Arkansas State (3-1) at Georgia Southern (2-1), 6 pm ET

Abandoning 310 yards at UNLV is not a promising sign for the Arkansas State that will face Georgia Southern. The Red Wolves should be able to take quarterback Hansen beyond a secondary average, but the defense of the race must avoid the "sieved" territory on the road.

Prediction: Arkansas State 38, South Georgia 33

North of Illinois (1-3) to East Michigan (2-2), at 6 pm ET

The start of the wage collection season is over for northern Illinois. Although the defense has fought respectable battles against Utah and the state of Florida in three consecutive losses at a power conference, NIU has never seemed threatening in attack. The attack from eastern Michigan is rarely pretty, but it is efficient enough to win at home.

Liberty (1-2) in New Mexico (2-1), 6 pm ET

The rushed attack of New Mexico is not as dangerous as years past, but Liberty's defense will bend regularly and eventually break. The Flames, who gave up at least six meters per pack against the army and North Texas, will not be able to handle this volume.

Prediction: New Mexico 37, Liberty 27

Florida Atlantic (2-2) in Middle Tennessee (1-2), 7 pm ET

Here is your dashboard of the week, knowing that FAU and Middle Tennessee are giving up more than 40 points each. FAU quarterback Chris Robison had a mixed start, but a secondary result that yields 8.1 yards per attempt will be a good match.

Prediction: Florida Atlantic 48, Middle Tennessee 34

Houston Baptist (1-2) to SMU (1-3), 7 pm ET

In the last two games, Houston Baptist has allowed 628 yards and eight touchdowns in the air. Although SMU still hesitates between Ben Hicks and William Brown at quarterback, one or the other should be productive against FCS visitors.

Prediction: SMU 37, Houston Baptist 24

UTEP (0-4) at UTSA (1-3), 19h ET

This American conference is a shock of weaknesses. UTSA has a horrible pass defense but seems solid against the race. The UTEP is not a threat in the air, but relies on the race. Which unit bends the most? Like week 4, we will favor a UTSA team that has lost to Arizona State, Baylor and Kansas State.

Hawaii (4-1) at San Jose State (0-3), 7 pm ET

Throughout the season, we will wonder if it is Saturday that the porous defense of Hawaii melts. This will probably not happen in front of the state of San Jose–the offense of the nation # 124–but quarterback Hawaii Cole McDonald should launch five touchdowns to be safe.

Prediction: Hawaii 38, San Jose State 22

Charlotte (2-2) at UAB (2-1), 7 pm ET

UAB remains perfect at home since the return of the program in 2017, with a record of 8-0 in Birmingham. Charlotte's ineffective defense will allow the series to continue, provided the UAB does not allow 49ers quarterback Chris Reynolds to take the upper hand.

Prediction: UAB 36, Charlotte 24

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-3) to Florida International (2-2), 7:30 pm ET

Two weeks ago, the state of South Dakota scored 90 points on Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Once your skull has resumed its normal tilt position, the eyebrows are relaxed and your jaw closed, you will understand why we choose Florida International to win an eruption.

Prediction: CRF 58, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 14

Louisiana Tech (2-1) North Texas (4-0), 7:30 pm ET

In three games, Louisiana Tech dropped 6.6 yards per pass with two touchdowns and two interceptions. It's pretty good! But to stop the northern quarter of Texas Mason Fine, the high school should be special. With a victory, the Mean Green could enter the Top 25 AP.

Prediction: North Texas 42, Louisiana Tech 24

Marshall (2-1) at Western Kentucky (1-3), 7:30 pm ET

Western Kentucky is a bad competitive team. Although quarterback Davis Shanley can correct the problem, Hilltoppers have not been explosive in attack. Marshall can be defeated this way, but we will have to see him from WKU to believe him.
